Course Details The aim of this course is to teach participants how to instruct others in the safe operation of powered pallet trucks.   Course Programme & Objectives On completion of the course participants will be able to: Eplain the practical implications of Irish Health & Safety Legislation, particularly as it applies to the operation & use of Pallet trucks Identify workplace hazards in relation to Pallet truck operation & implement control measures Plan & prepare Pallet truck instruction Conduct practical training sessions Conduct & mark theoretical & practical tests English is the language in which training is delivered and participants must have a good command of the English language. If participants wish to bring an interpreter they may do so but prior notice must be given to Nifast. Please let us know if participants have any specific learner requirements Methods of Training This course is based on classroom methods and practical lessons on Pallet Trucks.   Pre-Course Requirements      All participants attending this course must forward a copy of their current valid operators certificate to Nifast. Assessment / Certification Participants complete a theoretical and practical exam. Successful participants will receive a Nifast certificate in Pallet Truck Instruction.
